Carol Yarwood, Giftware Supervisor

Carol has been at Coed-y-dinas for 2 years and previously owned her own fashion business, designing and manufacturing handbags,hats and accessories.

Garry Adams, Pets & Aquatics Manager

Garry joined Charlies in 2005 as part of the team put together to open and develop Coed-y-dinas. Garry has extensive experience in all aspects of our Pets and Aquatics department from developing ranges to training his staff thus making sure we offer a personal service that is second to none. Whilst on a visit here you may be fortunate to see Garry give one of our free of charge Birds of Prey displays always popular with our visitors young and old!

Pam was delighted to join the team in June 2011 and has over thirty years’ experience in retail.  Customer service is always at the forefront of her mind.  Pam is from a farming background and enjoys meeting visitors to Coed-y-dinas and welcoming the regular local customers. We aim to give our customers the best customer service and hope they enjoy their visit.

Marion has been with the company for over 16 years. First in the Shrewsbury store when they first opened and for the last 4 years at Coed Y Dinas.

In the last 2 years I have been responsible for Interior Furniture , Clothes and Shoes,Crafts and Soft Furnishings."

Anthony Dunstan-Burns, Plants Manager

I have worked at Coed-y-dinas for nearly 4 years & have 24 years of growing, retail & show experience. Working for the largest Mail Order Nursery in the South West, with 28 years experience in total within the industry. I am now please to use my knowledge to help our customers.

Being a keen plantsman, has a wealth of plant knowledge and a good reputation within the industry in the UK and beyond.

I have a good eye for detail and buy quality products at the best possible prices, to pass on to you my customers.

I have owned my own small Garden Centre in Cornwall and I have been a Gold Medalist at all the Major Flower Shows in the UK including Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court Flower Show, Tatton Park Flower Show, BBC Gardeners World Live, Shrewsbury Flower Show, Southport Flower Show to name but a few.

Martin has been with the company for nine years helping to set up Coed-y-dinas from the start. Coming from a farming background Martin knows many local farmers and contractors. Besides overseeing the running of the Country Store Martin has an in depth knowledge of agriculture and is always willing to help with prices and technical information.

Tim Griffiths, Country Store Assistant Manager

Tim has been with the company for just over twelve months. Coming from a background of eleven years in Electrical wholesaling, locksmithing and working for twelve years in the Leisure industry.

Tim has qualified as an R-SQP at Harper Adams College which allows him to sell POM-VPS animal medicines for farm animals, horses and cats and dogs. 

Tim is head of the new Animal Health department that is due to open imminently.

Sally Summers, Country Store Sales Floor Manager

 Sally has been with the company for twelve months. Coming from a farming background and being involved in both a large local agricultural merchant and a agricultural building company, Sally is an asset to the company knowing many local farmers and contractors.

Sally has also qualified at Harper Adams as an RSQP and along with Tim will head the Animal Health Department.
